Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Requirements: PLC, Ignition, and HVAC
Travel: 60-70%
This is a full-time, Controls Engineer position. We are based out of Charlotte, NC. It is all on-site work. We have over 100 employees. We are a building automation and systems integrator. We have been in business for close to 80 years. We design custom control systems for building automation. We work with some of the most well-known companies in America.
Over the last 2 years, we have seen tremendous growth in our business and company. We have added 24% to our own headcount and have put most of this hiring into our engineering divisions. Our average employee tenure is 5 years.

What You Will Be Doing
- You will be interacting with our customers to help define the scope and requirements. Once these are understood you will create an Ignition-based solution.
- You will create standard technical solution designs and documentation
- Create solutions for Industrial and HVAC applications including Modbus Ethernet IP, and BACnet
- Alarm configuration
- Test, and deploy associated application support
- Minimal travel to client sites. Less than 10%.
